20th May 2007 - It seems to be working, but is something missing.

It's sunday evening and I'm doing my usual business equivalent of sticking my tee in the ground, placing my ball on it, and having a dam good look down the first fairway (apologies to any non golfers!).  I've just seen the most recent jobs site has just hit the first search engine, msn, right on schedule, marvellous.  But, I can't help feeling I'm missing something.

There are a couple of issues with the first 2 search engine campaigns which concern me, things that don't quite add up.  I can't quite work out whether I'm back to expecting too much too quickly or whether there really is a problem.  Apart from the stress it creates, this is probably a good thing as I pile up questions for those around me and in particular our SEO supplier for the morning.

I do wonder whether I just look to find problems, then again, perhaps this is the nature of the beast.  To progress on a regular basis, one must constantly look to find things that aren't perfect and improve on them.  Maybe the day I feel that nothing is wrong is the day I should throw in the towel and get a paper round!
