Relief for medical sales teams at Astrazeneca
If you are in a medical sales team at Astrazeneca you could be forgiven for being a little bit twitchy!
In the last 2 years the pharmaceutical giant has re structured it's medical sales teams on more than one occasion resulting in high numbers of casualties amongst it's medical reps.
A question mark had been raised over it's statin drug Crestor, but a new report has cleared the drug of any ill effects in respect of cancer risk to patients. It's a welcome relief to all those on medical sales at Astrazeneca as well as other field forces in the UK that sell Statin drugs such as Pfizer.
Astrazeneca's share price had taken a tumble but will now likely settle and recover after this good news.
